Ever since Nikki Hailey joined the UN as the U.S. ambassador appointed by President Trump, she has done everything in her power to clean up the disastrous mess that Obama and his minions left for the current administration. Hailey knew the moment she stepped into the role that she would have a lot of work to do.

National Review reported:

Adding a final shameful chapter to a foreign-policy record that already runneth over with them, Barack Obama on Friday abandoned America’s commitment to Israel’s security, and to the vindication of democracy over sharia-supremacist aggression. In an act of cowardly venom, the president had the United States abstain from — and thereby effectively enact — a United Nations Security Council resolution that condemns Israeli settlement activity. At least, that’s what the resolution ostensibly does. The reality is much more than that. The resolution undertakes to render our ally indefensible.

That’s the kind of behavior Nikki Haley was tasked with correcting.

So far, she’s done a phenomenal job.

In fact, she recently made one of the boldest announcements you’ll see from a U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.

Haley warned that the United States is prepared to leave the Human Rights Council if they don’t get their act together when it comes to treating Israel with dignity.

The Conservative Tribune reported:

On Friday, speaking before the Israeli-American Council in Washington, Haley stressed that the United States was prepared to leave the Human Rights Council if the U.N. didn’t stop “bashing Israel,” Independent Journal Review reported.

“We’ve made clear that the Human Rights Council will either adopt these reforms or the United States will leave and fight for human rights in other forms,” Haley explained.

“We don’t want to walk away, but we’re ready to if these changes aren’t made.”

Doesn’t get much clearer than that.

This isn’t an empty threat. The United States left another council earlier this year due to anti-Israel sentiments.

There is a lot of credibility to this threat. In October, the United States actually left the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization because of UNESCO’s persistent anti-Israeli bias.

Haley has also done a great job pointing out how the Obama administration let down the people of Cuba.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley issued an apology for Obama administration at the UN while debating an international resolution condemning the U.S. embargo of Cuba. She cited the Obama team’s refusal to vote against the resolution last year, in the face of broad opposition from the UN General Assembly.

“When the United States abstained on this resolution last year, its decision was explained by saying, ‘We recognize that the future of the island lies in the hands of the Cuban people,’” Haley said Wednesday in comments addressed to the Cuban people. “There is a casual cruelty to that remark for which I am profoundly sorry. Regrettably, as of today, the future of Cuba is not in your hands. It remains in the hands of your dictators.”

Nikki Haley is doing exactly what she needs to be doing over at the United Nations.
