After her daughter was killed by an illegal, she now has a message for President Joe Biden that is going to make his head spin…
The mother of a Texas woman who had been killed in a hit-and-run crash is now angry with federal authorities because they have rescinded a deportation order for the illegal immigrant who was responsible for her daughter’s death.
“I really want to know why,” Rhonda Exum said on “Fox & Friends First” Tuesday, adding that she had never been told that the man who has been charged in the hit-and-run crash was not going to be a top candidate for deportation once his criminal case was complete.
“By him not being deported, it’s like you telling me my daughter’s life didn’t mean anything,” she said, according to Fox News.
Interestingly enough, Exum also claimed that she is a Biden voter. Unfortunately, she doesn’t think that her vote for Biden resulted in what she expected.
“I thought he was going to talk for the American people, basically, and not for himself,” she said. “I don’t feel that he has done anything but disappoint.”
Adrienne Sophia Exum, 19, died in a crash in a north Houston neighborhood on November 22nd when the car she was driving was hit by a pickup driven by Heriberto Fuerte-Padilla, as noted by KTRK-TV. Exum died at the scene of the crash.
Rhonda Exum is totally grief-stricken and wants answers from the president.
According to the police report, Fuerte-Padilla was drunk at the time of the 1:30 p.m. crash and immediately after he tried to leave the scene on foot.
As the Trump Administration was winding to a close, Fuerte-Padilla was marked for deportation.
However, fast forward to the Biden Administration, and they are placing new rules designed to reduce the number of individuals deported, and Fuerte-Padilla is no longer a priority, as noted by the Washington Times.
The younger Exum’s cousin, Tranette Gamboa, told Fox News that she is shocked at the decision by the Biden Administration.
“They don’t care,” Gamboa said.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton described the policies of President Joe Biden in the simplest terms that he possibly could.
“I believe that Biden has betrayed our country. He’s betraying families that are losing people right and left,” Paxton said while he was being interviewed by reporters. “I think the answer to ‘why?’ is that they have greater goals that are more important than saving members of families.”
Rhonda Exum made it clear that she doesn’t understand why protecting illegal immigrants such as Puerte-Padilla is more important than getting justice for her daughter. Her message to the Biden Administration was crystal clear.
“My message is: Look out for the American people first,” she said.
“Truth be told, this was literally my first time voting, and I voted for you. And I feel disappointed right now.”
Jessica Vaughan is a policy studies director for the Center For Immigration Studies, so you would figure that she is liberal as the day is long. However, she is siding with those supporting deportment, saying the situation is ludicrous.
“Here we have a law enforcement agency handing ICE a criminal alien on a silver platter and ICE saying no thank you, and then the law enforcement agency saying really? And ICE saying no, we really don’t want to take this person,” she said.
Both Texas and Louisiana are pushing back and are filing suit in federal court. Similar cases are underway in the states of Arizona, Montana, and Ohio.
Rhonda Exum is waiting patiently for the Biden team to come to their senses. Hopefully her daughter will get justice.
