A reporter of the United Kingdom, who was on vacation in Sri Lanka, was killed by a crocodile while relieving himself at a lake.
24-year-old Paul McClean of London, was enjoying himself at the Crocodile Rock, when he was ambushed by the crocodile and dragged under water.
The incident unfolded on Thursday afternoon, after he separated from his friends because he had to use the bathroom.
While he relieved himself at the Crocodile Rock, a crocodile ambushed him and dragged him out to sea.
People saw McClean raising his hands above water, but he then disappeared.
Police and the army searched for McClean, and his body was found on Friday.
He had 7 puncture wounds on his right leg.
An autopsy showed that McClean died as a result of drowning.
McClean graduated from the Oxford University, and was a reporter for the Financial Times.
