Earlier today, former President Trump sent a letter to Texas Governor Greg Abbott in regards to having a “full forensic audit of the 2020 election” in the red state.
That very afternoon, Texas Secretary of State Ruth Hughs announced that the red Republican state was going to conduct a full forensic audit of the 2020 audit of the November 2020 election. Even though President Trump won the election, they are going to be looking at some of the bluest parts of the state to see if there is any type of voting discrepancy there. If they discover some, this could definitely set a precedent for other states that Trump should have won.
The Texas Secretary of State announced that Thursday, September 23rd that they were going to conduct a full and comprehensive forensic audit of any of the election components and that this has already begun in Texas’ two largest liberal counties as well as the two largest GOP counties. These counties in question would include Dallas, Tarrant, Harris, and Collin for the 2020 election.
It was a statement sent to CBS 11 that said in part: Under the existing Texas laws, the Secretary of State has the authority to conduct a comprehensive and full forensic audit. Thus, we anticipate that the legislature is going to provide funds for this purpose.
Former President Donald Trump continues to back House Bill 16, which calls for a “review of the results of the 2020 general election.”
It’s nice to see that at least Governor Greg Abbott is taking how Donald Trump feels seriously. The fact remains that President Trump had plenty of enthusiasm for his upcoming reelection bid, so it’s very hard to understand how he could have not only lost but lost by seven million to Joe Biden, of all people. Seriously…this is Joe Biden. This is the man who had to suspend his 1988 campaign due to severe allegations of plagiarism. This is the man who has a son who likes looking at child porn. Seriously? Trump not only lost, but he lost to Joe Biden? Are you kidding me?
