What AOC Claimed About January 6th Is Absolutely Laughable!

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is now claiming that on January 6th that she not only feared for her life, but that she also thought she was going to be raped. Let that sink in for a minute.

AOC told CNN’s Dana Bash her version of events in an interview on Monday, claiming that she thought she was going to be killed and sexually assaulted as well during the Capitol Riots on January 6th, commenting that, “White supremacy and patriarchy are very linked in a lot of ways.” Adding, “There’s a lot of sexualizing of that violence and I didn’t think that I was just going to be killed, I thought other things were going to happen to me as well.”

“You didn’t only think you were going to die, you thought you were going to be raped?” the reliably-liberal Dana Bash asked her. Bash seemed to be in just as much surprise as some of the rest of the viewers probably were back home.

“Yeah, I thought I was,” Ocasio-Cortez said, nodding.

Last February, several conservative news outlets reported on Ocasio-Cortez’s intense recounting of the events (as she allegedly had thought they occurred) at the Capitol, and she claimed that she had taken cover in her office, and she had hid from the raging mob:

”And so I run back into my office,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “I slam my door. There’s another kind of like back area to my office, and I open it, and there’s a closet and a bathroom. And I jump into my bathroom…In between the screams and the yells,” Ocasio-Cortez added, “I mean, I thought I was going to die.”

However, the problem with AOC’s story is that it simply isn’t true. The Red State issued the following report:

“AOC wasn’t even in the Capitol building where all the action was going down. If she was in her office, she was in the Cannon Building which is nearby, but a different building. But of course, many didn’t get the logistics and just assumed that she was in the Capitol building. According to Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC), who has an office in the same hall as AOC, two doors away, there were never any rioters in their hall so there was never any physical danger from rioters coming in at any point.”

Moreover, Nancy Mace (R-SC) went further, totally eviscerating AOC’s story in just one tweet: “@AOC made clear she didn’t know who was at her door. Breathless attempts by media to fan fictitious news flames are dangerous. My office is 2 doors down. Insurrectionists never stormed our hallway. Egregious doesn’t even begin to cover it. Is there nothing MSM won’t politicize?”

Conservative journalist and activist Jack Pobosiec called out AOC as well:

“AOC Wasn’t in the Capitol Building During Her ‘Near Death’ Experience,” Pobosiec said in one of his Tweets after the incident. Pobosiec also noted in a separate tweet that “maps cut through the rhetoric.”

AOC’s sit-down with Dana Bash was covered by the Daily Mail, and it was complete not only with a short clip of the interview, but also with ominous music playing in the background playing for effect while an emotional AOC embellishes on her harrowing experience on January 6th. Needless to say, her embellishment of what went down that day hasn’t been received well, and Candace Owens mocked the New York lawmaker as well, comparing her to Jussie Smollett, who claimed he had been attacked by Trump supporters: “I’d like to remind everyone that I live in Washington D.C – just a few blocks from the Capitol building,’ ‘Long story short, Ted Cruz tried to murder me too. #AlexandriaOcasioSmollett”

Democrats have never cared where their lies, hypocrisy, and corruption get exposed. They have allies in the Main Stream Media and they have tech tyrants that will make that information go away, having it disappear like it never even happened. Additionally, AOC and her unscrupulous party are just going to pick up where they left off, continuing to mislead Americans and lying through their dishonest teeth.
