Tucker Carlson’s Breach Of Contract Case Against Fox Has Taken A Very Interesting Turn…

More sordid details have surfaced in the ongoing debacle of Tucker Carlson’s clash with Fox News, illustrating a disturbing trend within the network. A reported phone call from Fox News’ Chief Legal Counsel, Viet Dinh, to an ally of Carlson has shed new light on the fallout, and it paints a picture of regret and internal strife, according to the Daily Caller.

Allegedly on May 3rd, Dinh reached out to an associate of Carlson, expressing remorse over the unfortunate series of events post Carlson’s dismissal from Fox. Dinh assured that the network had no part in the underhanded leaks showcasing behind-the-scenes glimpses of Carlson’s stint at Fox. In an era where Democrats and liberal media seem to be fixated on such tactics, this revelation raises eyebrows.

Dinh, the Daily Caller reports, went further, sharing that Fox News PR head, Irena Briganti, had been warned against leaking videos or face the threat of dismissal. While such stern warnings should ideally be sufficient, the reality is that we live in a time where the Biden administration’s lax stance on leakages and whistleblowing has set a concerning precedent.

In an even more shocking revelation, Dinh disclosed suspicions about a member of Fox’s board of directors going rogue and feeding the press unauthorized information about Carlson. It seems the culture of betrayal and subterfuge championed by liberals has found its way into the Fox boardroom as well.

Bryan Freedman, Carlson’s attorney, didn’t mince his words in condemning these leaks as a “smear campaign.” He told the Daily Caller, “It strains credulity that, immediately after agreeing to pay almost $780 million to settle serious allegations of misconduct, a member of Fox’s Board of Directors would be engaging in an attempted smear campaign by illegally leaking information about Tucker Carlson.”

In these troubled times, where BLM and woke culture seem to be rewriting the rules of ethics, such behavior is sadly not surprising.

Earlier in the month, Carlson, through his lawyers, accused Fox of violating his contract. The allegations leveled against Fox were serious and damaging, claiming intentional deceit, with the network making “material representations” that were deliberately broken. It’s a sad reflection of a system that tolerates fraud, akin to the Biden administration’s negligent handling of illegal migrants.

The letter from Carlson’s lawyers didn’t mince words, alleging Fox not only broke the agreement’s covenant of good faith and fair dealing but also accused the network of breach of contract, intentional, and negligent misrepresentation. It seems, much like the democratic party’s consistent distortions of truth, Fox too is now under fire for alleged deception.
