WHOA: Greg Gutfeld Has Secured A Major Victory For…

Amidst the chaos of a prominent news network, an unexpected star ascends, shattering records and challenging the status quo.

As the fallout from Tucker Carlson‘s firing continues, Fox News personality Greg Gutfeld emerges as a rising star, celebrating a historic week with his popular shows “The Five” and “Gutfeld!” dominating cable news ratings.

Gutfeld’s new book, “The King of Late Night,” is set to be released on July 25th, chronicling his journey to becoming the host of the top-rated late-night show on television. With “The Five” raking in 2.62 million total views on Wednesday night, Gutfeld’s success starkly contrasts CNN’s “Situation Room” and Newsmax’s “Frontline,” which garnered a meager 698,000 and 282,000 total viewers, respectively.

“The show replaced news program Fox News @ Night in April 2021, and has made double-digit gains on Fox since, with a 44 percent boost in total viewers and a 25 percent gain in the key 25-54 age demographic. Since its debut, Gutfeld! has averaged 1.9 million total viewers and 332,000 in the key demo. That audience has only grown from the debut: its first episode brought in about 1.7 million viewers total and 318,000 demo viewers — a strong showing that topped all of cable news at 11 p.m.,” Mediaite reported.

Furthermore, Gutfeld’s late-night show has achieved record-breaking viewership for Fox News, with a 44% increase in total viewers and a 25% gain in the coveted 25-54 age demographic. As of now, Gutfeld remains the reigning top host at Fox News in terms of viewership.

In the midst of social media uproar over Carlson’s termination, Gutfeld appears to lend his support to his former colleague by defending him on Twitter and even mentioning him on-air during a segment of “The Five.” Gutfeld’s defiance seems to signal his fearlessness in the face of potential backlash.

As the conversation surrounding President Joe Biden’s re-election prospects unfolded, Gutfeld jokingly mentioned Carlson running for president in 2024. The other hosts remained silent or quickly moved on to a new topic, perhaps under directives to avoid discussing Carlson’s situation.

Following Carlson’s firing, reports revealed that Lachlan Murdoch, CEO of Fox Corporation, and Suzanne Scott, CEO of Fox News Media, made the decision to terminate him. With Gutfeld’s unwavering support for his former colleague and his continued success on the network, it’s clear that he’s a force to be reckoned with in the world of conservative cable news.
