Biden Bragged About Saving You Sixteen Cents, How Much The 4th Of July Will Cost You Now Is…

Costs for an average American barbecue have risen nearly 20% year on year, highlighting the ongoing inflationary pressures that have characterized the Biden administration’s first 18 months in office.

Some may recall widely mocked words from Biden’s administration boasting that Americans would save a whopping 16 cents on Fourth of July cookouts compared to 2020. However, the American Farm Bureau Federation released its 2022 report today, and the cost of an Independence Day cookout has risen by more than ten dollars since last year. Americans’ parties will cost $69.68 this year, up from $59.50 in 2021, a 17 percent increase.

The bureau includes the price adjustments of specific components in addition to the barbecue’s overall cost.

The Bureau’s estimates for half of the items, whose costs decreased from 2021, were mentioned by the White House last year, and almost every item that the White House listed as being less priced last year now costs more money.

For this year’s poll Price increases are as follows: center-cut pork chops increased by 31%; lemonade increased by 22%; ground beef increased by 36%, and pork and beans increased by 33%.

Individual Prices, AFBF 2022 Summer Cookout:

  • 2 pounds of ground beef, $11.12 (+36%)
  • 2 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken breasts, $8.99 (+33%)
  • 32 ounces of pork & beans, $2.53 (+33%)
  • 3 pounds of center cut pork chops, $15.26 (+31%)
  • 5 quarts of fresh-squeezed lemonade, $4.43 (+22%)
  • 5 pounds of homemade potato salad, $3.27 (+19%)
  • 8 hamburger buns, $1.93 (+16%)
  • Half-gallon of vanilla ice cream, $5.16 (+10%)
  • 13-ounce bag of chocolate chip cookies, $4.31 (+7%)
  • 2 pints of strawberries, $4.44 (-16%)
  • 1 pound of sliced cheese, $3.53 (-13%)
  • 16-ounce bag of potato chips, $4.71 (-4%)

Sliced cheese and potato chips were the two products, according to the white house, whose prices dropped from the previous year by 13% and 4%, respectively.

Strawberries weren’t included last year because their price increased from the year before; however, in 2022, strawberries’ price decreased by 16 percent, making them the only item to decrease other than the two previously stated.

AFBF Chief Economist Roger Cryan said:

“Despite higher food prices, the supply chain disruptions and inflation have made farm supplies more expensive; like consumers, farmers are price-takers not price-makers,”

“Bottom line, in many cases the higher prices farmers are being paid aren’t covering the increase in their farm expenses. The cost of fuel is up and fertilizer prices have tripled.”

Well, all thanks to Biden and his regime.
