Oh, Dear, What Kamala Said About The Election is Insane!

Kamala Harris continues to be up to her old tricks again. Just wait until you see what type of doublespeak she is trying to utter now! Last Wednesday, Vice President Kamala Harris did her best attempt to smooth over the disappointing showing of the Democratic party during election night by noting some of the “great wins” that they had, albeit in incredibly deep blue portions of the country where the GOP stood no chance anyway.

“I will say this: We had great wins,” Harris told reporters. “We have Eric Adams in New York. In Ohio, we had Mrs. Brown, Shontel Brown, a great win and what I think will be a great addition to the United States Congress.”

Fox News reported that Eric Adams is set to become the next mayor of solid-blue New York City, a mega-city “where registered Democrats outnumber Republicans by roughly seven-to-one.” There was no doubt whatsoever that he was going to replace Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa. Adams will replace Mayor Bill de Blasio, who has come out in support of socialist governments in the past.

When it came to Ohio, Brown won a special election in a county that is usually about as Democratic as they come. This is the state’s 11th Congressional district, and this was an area that President Biden won with 80% of the vote. Brown is going to be replacing Marcia Fudge, who is now President Biden’s Housing and Urban Development Secretary.

The comments from Harris came as she had been campaigning overtime for Democrat Terry McAuliffe in the race to have a second stint as governor of Virginia. However, even with Vice President Harris’ help, he ended up having a staggering loss to his GOP challenger.

“What happens in Virginia will, in large part, determine what happens in 2022, 2024, and on,” Harris said just a matter of days before all three of the statewide elections in Virginia fell to the GOP. Moreover, the GOP came uncomfortably close (for Democrats) to winning the governor’s mansion in New Jersey as well. A Republican won a statewide election in Virginia for the first time since 2009 even though Biden won the state by ten points in 2020.

According to the Daily Wire, Republican Glenn Youngkin gave Terry McAuliffe a resounding defeat. Besides Mr. Youngkin, Republican Winsome Sears is going to be the first black woman to have a statewide position in Virginia when she is sworn in for the lieutenant governor position. Moreover, GOP member Jason Miyares is set to make history as the state’s first Latino attorney general.

As The Daily Wire reported, Republican Glenn Youngkin defeated McAuliffe, who previously served as Virginia’s governor. In addition to Youngkin, Republican Winsome Sears will be the first black woman to serve statewide in Virginia after she won the lieutenant gubernatorial election. And Republican Jason Miyares will be the state’s first Latino attorney general.

Again, as we previously reported New Jersey GOP challenger Jack Ciattarelli came uncomfortably close for the Democrats in ousting their governor, Garden State incumbent Phil Murphy. The race was too close to call well into late Wednesday until Murphy finally pulled the win off.

The closeness of the race actually surprised a lot of people, simply due to the fact that Ciattarelli didn’t appear to run as determined a campaign in New Jersey as his counterpart Youngkin did in Virginia. Although Murphy was projected to win easily in the state by double digits, it was a lot closer than everyone thought.

Even after all of that, New Jersey Republicans even eked out a victory or two as well. The most notable one was where a man who normally worked as a commercial truck driver ended up beating New Jersey’s Senate President even though he allegedly spent as little as $153 on his campaign.

Steve Sweeney (D-West Deptford) has been the Senate President for New Jersey since 2010, even serving in the state Senate since 2002. However, after last Tuesday’s election, it appears that he has lost to GOP challenger Edward Durr.

Despite Durr’s low-key campaign, the tightness of the race shocked many individuals, including reporters at the New Jersey Globe who were forced to retract their projected win for Sweeney late in the night. Let’s all hope that this isn’t the end for Republicans, but only the beginning. Let’s “Make America Great Again.” It’s time.
