Liberals Losing It Over CHRISTIAN Athlete Getting NFL Contract!

Well, Tim Tebow is now highly likely to return to the NFL, but there are a number of liberal NFL fans who are voicing frustration over the fact that this Christian athlete is getting another chance, but a certain “Black Lives Matter” protester is not. That’s right. Colin Kaepernick continues to remain sidelined.

Details, Please

Multiple reports surfaced last week that indicated that Tim Tebow was planning on signing a one-year contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Tebow is a former NFL quarterback, but in this new position he is going to be a tight end.

Tebow, 33, is planning on reuniting with his old college coach Urban Meyer. The pair have two college football national championships to their credit in 2006 and 2008.

“The #Jaguars are going to sign QB-now-tight-end Tim Tebow to a one-year-deal, according to me and @Tom Pelissero. This deal could be official in the next week or so,” tweeted NFL reporter Ian Rapoport.

“Tebow hasn’t played football since the 2015 NFL preseason and has spent the past six years working as a broadcaster on the SEC Network and working on a professional baseball career as well,” ESPN reported.

Reactions

Predictably, there are some fans that are already angry that Colin Kaepernick has gone many years without being signed and they are even further upset that Tim Tebow is going to get another bite of the apple.

Many of these fans seemed to be playing the race card.

“Tebow has not played in the NFL since 2012, and he gets another shot. Kaepernick hasn’t played since 2016 and gets nothing. What’s the difference? Can’t seem to put my finger on it,” one person tweeted.

“Tim Tebow has found a team and Colin Kaepernick can’t. (However, that isn’t true…Kap was able to get an offer, but at the league minimum). White privilege NFL style. Tebow can’t play, and he hasn’t played since 2012. Why don’t you explain it to me like I’m 5?” another person tweeted.

These and many other comments were made, despite the fact that former NFL player Jimmy Smith praised the decision, saying that Tebow is a “hometown hero” and he is “positive” and the Jags “need a guy like him.” He also said that Kap is “too divisive.”

I can’t help but agree.

But what do you think? Your comments would be appreciated!
