After 25 Years, Macaulay Culkin Finally Comes Forward With The Truth About Michael Jackson

When he was a child star, McCauley Culkin developed a friendship with someone that worried many people. In his youth, Culkin and Michael Jackson shared a friendship that involved many meetings and intimate hangouts.

But now, twenty-five years later, McCauley Culkin, the star of Home Alone, has come forward to reveal the truth about his friendship with Jackson, claiming it was completely “normal.”

While people have speculated about the “nature” of Culkin and Jackson’s friendship, the child star wants his fans and followers to know that they never had to worry.

The revelation came during a recent recording of Michael Rosenbaum’s podcast Inside of You. Culkin, now 38, opened up about his friendship with the King of Pop after Home Alone transformed him into a massive movie star at the age of 10.

“He reached out to me because a lot of things were happening, big and fast with me and I think he identified with that,” Culkin said during the podcast interview. “At the end of the day, it’s almost easy to say it was weird or whatever, but it wasn’t because it made sense. At the end of the day, we were friends.”

Since Jackson’s untimely death in 2009, many people would have loved to have had a friendship with Michael Jackson. And with allegations of molestation, still being talked about, Jackson’s tenuous relationship with children has never stopped being racy. That’s why so many people were eager to know what really happened between Culkin and Jackson.

“He was the most famous person in the world,” Culkin added, indicating why he would take the meeting with the pop star.

“I was a peerless person. Nobody else in my Catholic school had even this much idea of what I was going through, and he was the kind of person who’d been through the exact same frickin’ thing and wanted to make sure I wasn’t alone.”

While he was “alone” in the movie, Culkin was not “alone” in real life when Jackson came into it.

Culkin described the pop star as “funny” and “hilarious,” saying how much fun he always had with him when they were together. They’d make prank calls together. It was a blast.

“He was f***ing hilarious. He was charming, f***ing funny, silly. For me, it’s so normal and mundane. I know it’s a big deal to everyone else, but to me, it was a normal friendship.”

After discussing his relationship with Jackson, Culkin opened up about his own “b****rd father.”

Culkin first described his dad as a “complicated man,” but when pressed to reveal more, he said: “Honestly, he was a mean b*stard. He really shouldn’t have been a father, to be honest. The word ‘proud’ never came across his lips. I do actually go out of my way, when it comes to my brothers and loved ones, when they do something really good or great, I go out of my way to say that I am proud of them, because that’s something I never really heard.”
