Transgender wrestler wins second straight Texas girls’ high school title

For the second year in a row, a transgender wrestler has won the Texas girls’ Class 6A 110-pound division.

Mack Beggs, an 18-year-old senior from Euless Trinity High School near Dallas, entered the tournament in Cypress outside of Houston with an undefeated record. He beat Chelsea Sanchez — whom he beat for the title in 2017- in the final match Saturday.

Video posted online showed a mix of cheers and boos from the crowd following Beggs‘ win.

Beggs is in the process of transitioning from female to male and taking a low-dose of testosterone.

It was his steroid therapy treatments while wrestling girls that stirred a fierce debate about competitive fairness and transgender rights last season. It’s been a lot quieter since last year when his march to a state championship was dogged by a last-minute lawsuit that tried to stop him.

Beggs had asked to wrestle in the boys’ division, but the rules for Texas public high schools require athletes to compete under the gender on their birth certificate.

She/he is in the midst of changing and should not compete as either a female or male until the change is completed. Marine Bob

This man fights girls because he is a coward and can not win fighting another man. He will always be a man because he can not change his DNA.

Its not a man. Its a female receiving testosterone shots, which will make her at least a bit bulkier and stronger than the REAL females. Its not exactly the same as a male competing against females, but it still gives her an unfair advantage over REAL females.

This is a female changing to a male. The offense here is performance enhancing drugs. She should be disqualified. It is as plain as the nose on your face.

When you can reproduce as your new gender then you get a seat at the acceptable in society table, if NOT then you get shunned and zero glorification…

How is this any different than an Olympic athlete using performance enhancing drugs? This is just wrong on so many levels! Since they have forced separate washrooms and locker rooms for the transgendered upon us all, maybe it’s time they get their own athletic programs too. I wouldn’t have any interest in it but at least it would even up the odds. It doesn’t matter if its a male taking female hormones or a female taking male hormones the REAL female athletes are at a disadvantage, especially if they put in the work and dedication hoping for an athletic scholarship. This has to stop!

Absolutely, it is not fair to the other athlete’s that are not taking performance-enhancing drugs.

This is a total farce! If she wanted to take steroids and other drug enhancing methods of winning it would be against the rules and she would NOT be allowed at all to compete! But when she uses the LGBT crazies for her support while calling herself “transgender”? That then allows her to use the drugs not otherwise allowed to help her compete, she then uses PC BULLCRAP to get a great obvious advantage! That makes her untouchable using normal rules, ethics and code of conduct.

If this freak wants to become a boy then it, should Wrestle as a boy, on the boys wrestling team. Then we can all see her get her freakish ass kicked. A boy is a boy and a girl is a girl, and nothings going to change that.

If all the real girls just walked away from the competition someone would have to do something. It is not in any way fair for a guy to compete on a girls squad. We don’t see or hear transgender girls competing against guys? Wonder why?

Transgender athletes should only compete in all transgender field of competitors. His win as a woman was a farce.
How about we get the Incredible Hulk to get breast implants. Then his name would mean something as Mack Beggs for mercey
while the Hulk unscrews his leg. jwstx
