Another MSM Outlet Turns On Hillary; Claims She Was Mastermind Of Russian Collusion Story

A recent report by Investors.com accuses Hillary Clinton of being the one behind Russian collusion during the 2016 presidential campaign, not Donald Trump as the left has been blaming.

The failed presidential candidate and United States Intelligence officials worked together with Russians in order to entrap Donald Trump.

RealClear Investigations released a report by Lee Smith which made the shocking conclusion.

Smith delved into the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting that caused quite an uproar among liberals.

The meeting was between officials of Trump’s campaign staff and a Russian lawyer who has connections to high level politicians in Putin’s Russian government.

The liberal media has lied to the American people, claiming that Trump colluded with Russia in the 2016 presidential election, digging up dirt on his opponent, Hillary Clinton.

It was all a lie.

Smith wrote that “a growing body of evidence … indicates that the meeting may have been a setup — part of a broad effort to tarnish the Trump campaign involving Hillary Clinton operatives employed by Kremlin-linked figures and Department of Justice officials.”

Investors.com writes:

Smith painstakingly weaves together the evidence that’s already out there but has been largely ignored by the mainstream media, which have become so seized with Trump-hatred that their reporting even on routine matters can no longer be trusted.

But he adds in more evidence that the Justice Department only recently handed over to Congress. And It’s damning.

Memos, emails and texts now in Congress’ possession show that the Justice Department and the FBI worked together both before and after the election with Fusion GPS and their main link to the scandal, former British spy and longtime FBI informant Chris Steele.

As a former British spook in Moscow, Steele had extensive ties to Russia. That’s why he was picked as the primary researcher to compile the “unverified and salacious” Trump dossier, as former FBI Director James Comey once described it.

Steele’s dossier, for which Fusion reportedly received $1 million, was largely based on interviews with Russian officials. And who paid that $1 million? As we and others have reported, it was Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee, then under Hillary’s control.

The mainstream media was well aware, but for the most part, they ignored it. The contradiction that was found after painstaking investigating is truly damning. Trump was not behind Russian collusion, but rather Hillary Clinton was. All the evidence points right to her. She was the one who hired Christopher Steele to investigate Trump via Russian sources.

There’s more to the story, however.

We must go back to events that took place during the same timeframe as the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting to find the truth. Investors.com explains “that meeting was the basis for much of the later Russian collusion “investigation,” if it can even be called that.”

The fourth highest ranking official at the DOJ, Bruce Ohr, “coordinated before, during and after the election” with Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson as well as Christopher Steele, explained Smith.

This isn’t really all that shocking considering the fact that Nellie Ohr was working for Fusion GPS at the time. She also spent time working for the CIA.

Steele was fired by the bureau in October of 2016. He was terminated after it was found that he leaked information to reporters. Bruce Ohr then became the conduit for information from the Fusion GPS firm.

Both the Justice Department and the FBI took information from the unverified “dossier” in order to obtain the FISA wiretap on Carter Page, a then-Trump campaign aide. These wiretaps were essential in the Russian collusion investigation.

RealClearPolitics conducted another investigation, which proved that the FBI, Western intelligence sources, and operatives from the Clinton campaign had gotten in contact with the Trump campaign regarding “potentially damaging information about Clinton.”

This is an important factor, because Natalia Veselnitskaya, the Russian lawyer with ties to Putin who was in contact with the Trump camp regarding information on Clinton, was a Fusion GPS client at the time that she had met with Trump campaign members. Veselnitskaya attended the meeting with former Soviet military counterintelligence official Rinat Akhmetshin. Akhmetshin is currently working as a lobbyist.

The strangest part is that Glenn Simpson admitted that he had dined with the Russian lawyer the night prior to and the night following the Trump Tower meeting…

Investors.com reports that it is highly unlikely that the two did not discuss the meeting.

The report continues:

Veselnitskaya herself subsequently claimed that the talking points for her meeting with the Trump people were provided to her by Simpson.

Once in the meeting, she quickly dropped the promises of having dirt on Hillary Clinton and instead brought up Russia’s long-standing desire to get rid of the Magnitsky Act, under which the U.S. imposed sanctions on a number of Russian moguls and government officials.

In short, they were baiting a trap for the Trump campaign to make it appear as if they were colluding with Russian officials.

Given the nonstop media coverage following leaks by the FBI and Justice, it seems the meeting served its purpose: It sowed the seeds of suspicion about the Trump campaign’s supposed Russian collusion.

After requesting pertinent documents from the DOJ multiple times, Congress was finally able to obtain them. Now, they are attempting to do the work that the FBI and the DOJ are refusing to. This could turn out to be the biggest scandal in American politics.

“So here you have information flowing from the Clinton campaign from the Russians,” House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes stated while appearing on Fox News this past Sunday.

So, is Hillary Clinton really the one guilty of collusion?Nunes is head of the Congressional investigation. He explains that information was likely “handed directly from Russian propaganda arms to the Clinton campaign, fed into the top levels of the FBI and Department of Justice to open up a counterintelligence investigation into a political campaign that has now colluded (with) nearly every top official at the DOJ and FBI over the course of the last couple years. Absolutely amazing.”

Using a federal agency in order to surveil a political opponent is a serious felony. If all of this stands to be true, Hillary Clinton could be in a world of hurt very soon.
