Son’s Scream Wakes Mom, She Was SHOCKED At What Is Hanging Off His Face [PHOTOS]

A mother has woken up in a surprise to see his son bloodied with a snake hanging on his face.

In the property at Eungai Rail in northern New South Wales, Australia, Tamara Thurgood, woke up due to a scream she heard. And to find out that the scream was coming from her 6-year-old son Tyler whose head was bleeding. A python that was still hanging on her son’s face bit her son in the face while he was sleeping.

“It was like a nightmare”, Tamara said. “It was a terrifying scream and I didn’t know what had happened – I certainly didn’t think it involved a snake,” she said.

“I have no idea how it even got into the house,” she added.

She immediately removed the snake from his son’s face then she called her two male relatives for help who killed the phyton that measures almost 10 feet long while she rushed Tyler to Macksville District Hospital.

The photo of Tyler’s bloody head together with the picture of his relative holding the dead snake was posted on Facebook which attracted more than 2000 shares in just 24 hours.

Tyler later recovered from his wounds and is doing well. The good thing about it is that he did not remember anything about the incident.

“Tyler doesn’t remember anything – which is the best part,” Tamara said.

“He was only complaining about his finger hurting. He tapped his head on the way to the hospital and he asked me why he was bleeding.

“He wouldn’t know that a snake had bitten him if we hadn’t told him or if people hadn’t been talking about it.”

Snake experts described the encounter with Python as an “unfortunate chance meeting”.

“It doesn’t mean the snake was attacking him, the kid could have rolled on him in his sleep,” he said. “Human beings do not fit into the prey selection of any Australian snakes.”
