Kirsters Baish| Investigative Reporter Paul Sperry has reported that Americans should be on the lookout this month for President Trump to declassify the Carter Page FISA renewal application. The Gateway Pundit reports that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe both signed off on the renewal from June of 2017. Take a look at the screenshot below of Rod Rosenstein’s signature on the June 2017 renewal application:
Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch prompted the release of the Carter Page FISA documents last month, following the group’s filing of a FOIA lawsuit. The documents do confirm that the FBI and the Justice Department had misled FISA courts, despite the fact that the documents were extremely redacted and full of lies.
GOP lawmakers including Republican Freedom Caucus Chairman of North Carolina Mark Meadows and Republican Representative of New York Lee Zeldin pushed for the FISA documents to be declassified.
The President sent out a tweet about the FISA documents not long after they were released. He bashed Hillary Clinton and pushed for Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s “witch hunt” to be terminated.
He tweeted, “So we now find out that it was indeed the unverified and Fake Dirt Dossier, that was paid for by Crooked Hillary Clinton and the DNC, that was knowingly & falsely submitted to FISA and which was responsible for starting the totally conflicted and discredited Mueller Witch Hunt!”
