‘We’re back’: Steelworker Praises Trump In Emotional Video That Is Breaking The Internet

An emotional steelworker was brought to tears when discussing President Trumpthis week, and the video is now breaking the internet. 

The steelworker from Granite City, Illinois became passionate and fought back tears when he was asked to talk about his feelings on President Trump’s pro-American speech.

He emotionally thanked President Trump for fighting for us at the newly reopened U.S. Steel mill, calling the reopening of the plant a “great victory and honor.”

Over 500 jobs were brought back into the picture as workers with the U.S. steel said tariffs from Trump created the decision to restart a blast furnace at the mill.

As the second blast begins to prepare, an additional 300 jobs are also promised by the company by October.

KSDK News got a chance to speak with the steelworker after President Trump’s speech. The Steelworker got very emotional when talking about all the good things Trump has done for American workers.

The steelworker named Tony, said he had been fired 2 1/2 years ago. He had found more work but was killing himself working up to 80 hours a week just to make the bills and feed his family.

Now that the steelworker got his job at the mill back, he said he can make a living with a 40-hour week and spend more time with his family.

When he was asked what it means to his family and friends to know that he’s back at work at the mill, he wiped away tears and replied, “That we’ve got a way of life.”

“It’s just nice to know that we’ve got someone fighting for us to keep our jobs. It was rough for a lot of us,” Tony said.

The reporter asked him to share the one thing he wants people to know about President Trump and the economy.

“We’re back,” he said.
