ILMF| Secretary of State Mike Pompeo departed from the United States on Thursday for continued denuclearization discussions with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.
According to The Hill, Pompeo is carrying two gifts from President Donald Trump to give to Kim: a letter from the president and a CD copy of Elton John’s “Rocket Man.”
Voice of America’s Steve Herman reports that Trump also signed the CD, a gesture of the two leaders moving beyond threats of nuclear war and toward peace.

The gift is important for two reasons: one, it refers to the nickname Trump gave to Kim late last year when he called the North Korean leader “little Rocket man” when the regime was carrying out missile tests.
Secondly, when Trump and Kim met in Singapore last month for the historic summit, the president asked the North Korean leader if he had ever heard of the song.
Trump remembered that Kim said “no,” so he got him the CD as a joke to show him where he got the nickname from.

“Trump remembered the conversation and told Pompeo to take a CD with the song for Kim.”
Pompeo is currently in Pyongyang and will spend two days in North Korea to continue talks regarding denuclearization. In addition, Pompeo is also negotiating the return of the bodies of American soldiers who were killed or imprisoned during the Korean War.
Trump’s hilarious gift for Kim comes after progress was made at the historicU.S.-North Korea summit.
As the entire world applauded Trump for the meeting, the liberal media refused to give the president a shred of credit. Rather than admit that Trump and the U.S. had taken a major step forward to achieving peace on the Korea Peninsula, many liberal “experts” peddled utterly ridiculous theories to downplay the historical summit.
The same media who fawned over former President Barack Obama agreeing to the worthless Iran nuclear deal desperately want people to believe that the Trump-Kim summit was an epic failure because, otherwise, they would have to actually give Trump credit for accomplishing what Obama never could.
The media will never give Trump any credit, but thankfully he’s having a little fun while trying to achieve world peace.
