A man was jailed for many years after admitting that he deliberately contracted HIV so that he could infect others with the virus.

25-year-old Stephen Koch of Scranton, Arkansas, was wanted for downloading child pornography.

While searching his computer, investigators discovered that he knowingly infected himself with HIV so that he could pass the virus onto those who have sex with him.

Luckily, he was caught before he was able to carry out his evil plans.

The 25-year-old pleaded guilty to attempting to expose another person to HIV, possession of meth with the purpose to deliver, and eight counts of distributing or viewing child pornography.

He was sentenced to 50 years in prison and he must register as a sex offender.
