A father of one teenage daughter shared his heartbreaking photos of his lovely daughter that hanged herself, in an attempt in ending online bullying.

The man whose name is Adrian Derbyshire and 42 years in age has shared photos taken in the final minute of his 16 years old daughter whose name is Julia.

A report from Metro said the father of this young 16 years old girl that was the victim of online bullying found his daughter collapsed in their home in Warrington, England after she attempted to take her own life by hanging herself in an attempt to commit suicide.

Just five days after the suicide attempt, Julia’s life support was switched off. Adrian took photos of his daughter in the last moments of her life.
The photo that was shared by the victim father was taken in October 2015, but he shared them online because he was unable to bring himself to look at them until now and those photos where released on Julia’s 18th birthday.

“Instead of taking her out for champagne to celebrate her 18th birthday, I was placing flowers on her grave,” said the father of the deceased.

The heartbroken father decided to share her daughter photos to raise awareness for his anti-online bulling campaign, SASSY (Support against Self-harm and Suicide in Youth),

“Releasing the photos of Julia is one of the hardest things I have had to do in my life because I took all the photos in the minutes before Julia’s death and since then I have buried them on my phone until now because it is painful to be looking at them. But I knew that I was going to make use of them to raise the awareness, because I think that the cause is too vital to not use them.” said Derbyshire the father of the deceased.

According to ITV News, a former Paralympian fencer, Adrian has talked to over more than 200,000 students at different schools all over the U.k. in order to raise awareness of the dangers of bullying and self-harm.

Derbyshire decided to share his story in order to give a note of warning of the devastating effect suicide and self-harm can have on families.

“Seeing the photos raised emotions back to that time and made me feel physically sick,” Adrian said. “But if it can help a parent or a family not to go through what I have been through then that it is what the campaign is all about.”

The response has been awesome and overwhelming – “I have received several messages about parent who have lost their teenagers and children and they all thanked me for releasing those photos” Said the father of the deceased. It also shows just how desperate the issue is and how [needed] the campaigns that I do are.”
