Kirsters Baish| We all know that CNN anchor Don Lemon isn’t exactly the biggest fan of President Donald Trump, but he really proved his distain for our Commander in Chief when he revealed that his network will be limiting the air time that it allows for President Trump’s 2020 rallies unfiltered.
Lemon stated during a Variety event this past Friday, “There will be no rallies that run in real time. There will not be so much space for candidates to let them ramble on. The American people will demand that. We will expect more truth from our candidates.”
Variety reports that Lemon referred to “CNN’s decision to carry live coverage of Trump rallies without much commentary as something that won’t be repeated.”
President Trump utilized his rallies during the 2016 presidential election in order to share his perspective on important issues like illegal immigration and ways to boost our country’s economy. He spoke about “Angel Moms” and minorities whose families were the victims of crimes committed by illegal immigrants. He spoke of Jamiel Shaw Sr. and all of the details that the mainstream media chose to overlook.
The mainstream media portrayed Donald Trump as a joke during his presidential campaign. They made it seem as though he had no shot in hell at winning, but clearly they were wrong. Now, the legacy media is dead set on correcting the error of their ways.
Breitbart News reports:
Lemon’s remarks indicate that CNN will try to severely limit the amount of time its viewers get to listen to Trump without anti-Trump pundits, Republican useful idiots like Ana Navarro, and left-wing anchors like Lemon trying to take Trump out of context and ginning up scandals.
During the same event, Lemon stated that the reason he was even making the comments was because it was his “obligation as a journalist” to tell Americans that Trump is “racist.”
Lemon stated, “If he is not racist he’s certainly is racist-adjacent. If you have the evidence that shows you, that indicates, that leads you to nothing else but this president being racist, then I feel it’s my obligation as a journalist to say it. On that night I said it, and I don’t regret saying it. I believe that to be true.”
