HOUSTON (NEWS CENTER Maine) — Former President George H.W. Bush was admitted to a hospital Sunday morning after contracting an infection that spread to his blood, a spokesperson for the Bush family said in a statement Monday night.

Spokesperson Jim McGrath said Mr. Bush is “responding to treatments and appears to be recovering.”
