Welcome To America’s Future… In Heavily Populated Refugee Areas

This week, following a string of thefts, threats and assaults, Postal Officials announced that they would no longer send their employees into a heavily Refugee populated neighborhood. Conditions in some areas of Denmark have continually worsened over the last couple of years as the country has been flooded with Syrian and North African Muslim refugees, and the post office at least, has had enough.

A spokesperson told reporters the post office has halted deliveries to a troubled, high-immigration neighborhood because its drivers are afraid to enter the area. PostNord, the national mail carrier, said they have pulled all staff from the Vollsmose district of Odense, the country’s third-largest city. Officials said the decision was made after one of their vans was broken into during a delivery. Violent threats have also been made against two other drivers.

Local media confirmed that crime in the refugee area is skyrocketing especially with regards to non-refugees, with reports of numerous confrontations in the area. The Local, an English-language Danish news site, said the area has a reputation for “high crime and unemployment rates, as well as a large proportion of people of immigrant descent living in the area.

Their previous coverage of the area includes stories of a Muslim cleric who declared Jewish people “the offspring of apes and pigs”, as well as a report on police being attacked with a Molotov cocktailDanish newspaper Information Bladet claimed the area is so dangerous that firefighters refuse to attend incidents there without a police escort. A spokesman apologized for the break in service for the 10,000 or so customers affected, but said PostNord officials felt the action was necessary for the safety of its employees.

He said: “We have decided to prioritize consideration for the safety of our staff above the very large inconvenience to many of our customers.” PostNord said it hoped to resume normal service as quickly as possible.

Denmark, like most of northern Europe, has been drowning against the invasion of Muslim refugees which was triggered by the wars raging in the Middle East and Northern Africa. In response, Danish lawmakers have passed new restrictions designed to deter migrants – including confiscating their cash and other valuables when they enter the country.

In addition Denmark’s problems are confounded because the country shares a large land border with Germany which, because of Angela Merkel’s open initiation for more than a million refugees to come to her country, has left both Germany and Denmark flooded in refugees due to their liberal social welfare and prosperity. Things have gotten so bad, that one of the country’s largest political parties suggested the need to control migrant by constructing a much needed physical, 42-mile border fence to keep people out.
