Parkland School Shooter Called 911 On Himself Only Months Before Shooting Spree

The mass shooter, Nikolas Cruz who killed 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High school had reportedly confessed to his actions.

Before his massacre, Nikolas Cruz had previously displayed racist, homophobic, and anti-Semitic sentiments in a social media setting in an Instagram group he had created. Cruz reportedly had been part of this Instagram group since August 2017 and most of the messages were between six different members. The group was titled “Murica great” and had hundreds of foul messages.

For example:

•Cruz hated “jews, n****rs, immigrants”

•Talking about killing Mexicans

•Keeping black people in chains and cutting their necks

•He hated black people because they were black

•He hated Jews because they wanted to destroy the world

•He hated gay people and wanted to “shoot them in the back of the head”

•He hated white women, specifically “traitors” who were in interracial relationships

He also told members, “I think I am going to kill people,” but no one took him serious.

According to news sources, the FBI had received tips about threats from Cruz but failed to make any further actions towards the matter. Law officials have currently charged Cruz with 17 counts of “premeditated” murder and the Broward county public defender has explained that Cruz will plead guilty to his actions.

Nineteen-year-old Nikolas Cruz reportedly placed a disconcerting 911 call about himself only months before he shot and killed 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

CNN affiliate WPTV reported that on Nov. 28, while family friend Roxanne Deschamps was on the phone with 911 dispatchers about Cruz, a call came through from him.

He told dispatchers that someone attacked him and told him they were “going to gut” him if he returned.

“I kind of got mad, and I started punching walls and stuff, and then a kid came at me and threw me on the ground, and he started attacking me, and he kicked me out of the house, and he said was going to gut me,” he said.

According to a recording obtained by WPTV, his voice was shaking as he told dispatchers he was new to the area and added, “The thing is, I lost my mother a couple days ago, so, like, I’m dealing with a bunch of things right now.”

During Deschamps’ 911 call from that same day, she described Cruz’s violent outburst, and her son, Rock, told dispatchers that Cruz threatened him with a shotgun.

Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel previously stated that over the span of about two years, his office received about 20 calls about Cruz’s behavior.

The FBI also received tips about the 19-year-old, and one call placed by a woman close to him only weeks before the shooting said she knew he was “going to explode.” The woman even said he might “get into a school and just shoot the place up.”
