A recent photo of the First Lady, wearing a form-fitting blue dress caused many rumors about pregnancy to emerge. The photos feature Melania wearing a $1,695 blue Michael Kors dress from the 2017 Pre-Fall Collection lineup.

Almost immediately after they were published by the The Inquisitr’s website the speculations went rampant.

It’s not surprising that the social media users started to search information about possible pregnancy news, after seeing a picture of Melania’s highlighted stomach in the blue dress she was wearing during a White House visit by the Panamanian President Juan Carlos Varela and his wife, Lorena Castillo Garcia de Varela.

Reportedly, Google noted a rapid increase on searches for topics such as  “Melania Trump belly” , “Is Melania Trump pregnant?”,  “Melania Trump blue dress” and “Melania pregnant now.”

Many people also began questioning the possibility of her pregnancy because of her age. But, had the rumors been  true, Melania wouldn’t have been the firs celebrity to give birth in her forties According to Parenting magazine  singer Gwen Stefani gave birth at the age of 44.  Actresses Susan Sarandon and Gina Davis were ages 45 and 48 respectively. 

Of course giving birth at an older age comes with some risks like possible complications and birth defects, increased health risks, higher likelihood of developing gestational diabetes and hypertension and having a stillbirth and a preterm delivery.

Nevertheless, as it appears giving birth later in life is a growing trend among many women. As confirmed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, births by women between the ages of 50 and 54 have increased by more than 165% between the years of 2000 to 2013. Throughout the year of 2013, a total of 677 American women over the age of 50 gave birth according to the government agency.

The report from the Inquisitr states :“Melania’s blue sheath dress with its figure-flattering stretch bouclé-crepe caused quite the uptick in searches about Melania being pregnant or not. At 47 years of age, it is definitely possible for Melania to be pregnant if Mrs. Trump hasn’t experienced any surgery that prevents her from becoming pregnant. With women undergoing IVF treatments more and more these days, pregnancy might not be out of the question.”

It is also not surprising that rumors of possible trouble in the marriage of the President and Melania began circling around. As reported by The Inquisitr there has also been a significant rise in the search of the phrase “Melania boyfriend” on Twitter search engines.

But this is not a new rumor of this kind to rise around the First Couple. Back on May 21, Claude Taylor, a former Clinton staffer  tweeted  : “I was just told by a mainstream media member that Donald and Melania’s divorce papers were signed prior to election and settlement agreed to. Then he won.”

After his statement was received with disbelief and skepticism, he again tweeted :“A reporter well known to many said this to me. My source is a well-known reporter. Not household name level — but established and respected by peers.”

The tweet quickly went viral with over 7,000 likes and almost 4,000 retweets, which is understanding considering the fact that Twitter is leftists dominated social media. However, the rumors were of course not true and as we can all see there is still no announcement about a divorce.

Stephanie Grisham, a spokeswoman for Melania, denied the allegations  and said they were ridiculous and that  “obviously that is absolutely false.”

Yet another rumor went viral when a popular blogger who reportedly claimed that she wanted to see Trump’s “whole wretched family out of power,” claimed that Melania is having an affair with the head of security at Tiffany’s in the Trump Tower lobby.

When you are constantly in the public eye, people will never stop talking, and that is one of the things all public figures, especially the First Family should be prepared for. Dealing with rumors and foolish allegations is part of the job description.
