It’s official, the Obama’s are NOT invited to the upcoming royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
All around the world people are talking about the royal wedding between England’s Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle. As soon as their engagement was announced the world’s elite began vying for an ever so exclusive invite and this of course includes the social climbers Barack and Michelle Obama.
Immediately following the royal announcement, Michelle Obama began her sad and obvious attempt to woo the Queen of England into granting a pity invite. Unfortunately for the Obama’s, all hope has been lost as diplomacy rears it’s ugly head.
According to a close source neither the Obama’s or Trump’s are on the guest list as the controversy presented by inviting only one or both has been deemed unacceptable by the Queen.
The Daily Mail reports: The forthcoming royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was branded a “diplomatic timebomb” if Barack Obama was invited, but not Donald Trump.
“President Trump will not be invited because the wedding will be for friends and family only,” a source tells me.
“It won’t be a state occasion. If Mr. Obama was invited, the invitation could look like a snub to Mr. Trump, and His Royal Highness would not wish to cause a diplomatic row.”
