As Reported by PatriotJournal:
Things are getting shaken up around the world. England was rocked by Brexit. The United States was rocked by the election of Donald Trump.
Now other parts of the world are seeing major changes to their society and leadership. Parts of the world few ever thought would change.
The rich and the powerful do everything they can to control, well everything. Billionaires from other parts of the world use their massive resources and influence to manipulate everything from politics, business, and even human rights.
You know about George Soros, the Hungarian billionaire that controls the DNC. But you probably don’t know about this other power broker.
This one man is rich, controlled major stock in U.S. companies (including Twitter), and was royalty. But it seems like all of that is about to change, as he was just arrested.
From Zero Hedge:
In a shocking development, late on Saturday the Saudi press reported that prominent billionaire, member of the royal Saudi family, and one of the biggest shareholders of Citi, News Corp. and Twitter – not to mention frequent CNBC guest – Al-Waleed bin Talal, along with ten senior princes, and some 38 ministers, has been arrested for corruption and money laundering charges on orders from the new anti-corruption committee headed by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, while Royal princes’ private planes have been grounded.
Among those fired and/or arrested are the head of National Royal Guards, Miteb Bin Abdullah, the Minister of Economy and Planning, Adel Fakeih, and Admiral Abdullah bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al-Sultan, the Commander of the Saudi Naval Forces.
As the local press further adds, the supreme committee chaired by Crown Prince and billionaire stops “on charges of money laundering…”
While details remain scarce about this “Saturday of the long Saudi knives” – which some have suggested may be a countercoup attempt – DPA confirms the Al Arabiya report that three senior state officials were sacked.
Saudi Arabia—a nation accused of being way behind time the times—is experiencing a significant purge. The Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (known as MbS) is enforcing sweeping corruption standards, cleaning out the government of its worst criminals.
Some of the people being arrested have been accused of a litany of corruption and money laundering charges. They have manipulated the businesses of numerous nations, not the least their own. With them out of the way, Saudi Arabia could see significant reform and change for the good.
This comes just a few months after President Trump visits the Middle East. You might remember his powerful speech, urging Muslim leaders to drive out the corruption and extremism from their nations.
This is no coincidence. Trump’s influence in the region is being felt, as like-minded leaders are cleaning out their ranks. Many of the men arrested were no doubt funding radical, Islamic terror and helping regimes like Iran.
These arrests are just the beginning of the changes. But make no mistake, resistance will surely be felt. Powerful people don’t want to lose their power. These corrupt rulers will do what they can to fight back. It will be a long journey for sure.
