A mother in Atlanta is said to have quit her job because she couldn’t find a babysitter for her children and she told friends she had enough.  On Friday evening, she put two of her boys ages 1 and 2 into the oven and turned it on.  Police said that the boys had horrific burn marks on their bodies from the ordeal.  After she was done, she video chatted with the boys’ father, who called the police.  The mother, Lamora Williams from Atlanta, Georgia,  told the police that they must have died while in someone else’s care but the police soon discovered the truth.

 The 24-year-old is believed to have recently quit her job because she couldn’t find a babysitter and told her friends she’d ‘had enough’.

Williams was said to have suffered from undiagnosed mental health problems brought on by her father’s passing when she was 19 and being a single mother of four young children.

Police say the boys had suffered horrifying burn marks when their bodies were taken from the apartment.

After she allegedly killed the children, she video chatted her boys’ father, Jameel Penn. He alerted the police immediately when he saw his motionless children on the ground and realized something wasn’t right.

Williams told cops the pair may have died while they were in the care of another person, but they soon realized that wasn’t true.

The oven was taken from the scene for additional investigation and an official autopsy is still being conducted.

Fulton County jail officials say Williams waived her first appearance in court on Monday for felony murder charges.
