During the campaign, various celebrities vowed to leave the United States if Donald Trump would win the election and Madonna is one those celebs.
On her recent Instagram post, the Queen of Pop announced that she has moved to Lisbon, Portugal.
“The energy of Portugal is so inspiring,” Madonna wrote. “I feel very creative and alive here and I look forward to working on my film LOVED and making New Music!! This will be the next Chapter in My Book!”
“It’s time to conquer the world from a different vantage point,” she added.

The singer, seemingly, had some issues receiving a package since she moved. Well, people always have hitches as part of the relocation process.
“When you’ve been arguing with customs all week that you really are Madonna and they still won’t release your package,” she wrote on a photo showing the singer looking none too pleased.
Though rumors emerged in social media that Madonna’s relocation has something to do with Donald Trump, it seems that the singer has her deeper reason for moving.
As you might recall, Madge has frequently become crazy over Donald Trump specifically when the president was the Republican nominee running against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
However, a spokesman for the singer recently revealed to The Associated Press she fell in love with Portugal after she ended her tour there in 2004. The 59-year-old singer had been living in New York before her surprising move.
Madonna’s move might not be all about her new projects but also for her son because she had been visiting the country for the last few months with her adopted son, David Banda. Last week, reports arose that the singer moved to Lisbon to be with her son, who joined the Benfica football team youth academy, located in the suburb of Lisbon.
