Mastermind In Kim Kardashian’s $10m Paris Robbery Speaks Out

It’s been almost a year since Kim Kardashian West was robbed of $10m worth of diamonds at gunpoint at her Paris hotel.

Now the man behind the robbery Aomar Ait Khedache has reached out to apologize.

TMZ reported that Khedache, the mastermind on robbing $10m jewelry of Kim sent a personal apology.

“After observing your emotion and realizing the psychological damages I inflicted … I decided to write to you, not to obtain from you some sort of indulgence. […] I want to come to you as a human being to tell you how much I regret my gesture, how much I have been moved and touched to see you in tears. […] Know that I fully sympathize with the pain you are enduring, your children, your husband, and your close ones. […] I hope that this letter will allow you to forget little by little the trauma that you suffered by my fault.”

TMZ reports that Kim thinks the gesture’s ‘hollow.’ In her statement following the traumatic heist, Kim explained: “I was in a bathrobe, naked underneath. We went back to the bedroom and they pushed me onto the bed,” before revealing on the reality show: “Just by their height and weight, I could tell who from this lineup was in the room with me.”

The note was sent just days before the first anniversary of the $10m robbery, which took place in Paris during Fashion Week in October 2016.

It was first issued to the judge and passed onto Kim’s lawyers, who translated the words, the website claims.
