A crab was being cooked alive in china, tried to save itself and its friends by jumping off the hot pot and turning off the cooker, luckily it was caught on video and later uploaded on the internet.

The incident happened in Lianyungang, Jiansu and the man who cooked the crab said that he placed four crabs on a pot and tried cooking it with an electronic cooker.

When he turned on the stove and watch the crab being cooked, suddenly one of the crab jumped out of the pot and used its claws to turn off the cooker in an effort to save itself and its friend from being cooked alive.

The man, who was not identified, recorded the incident.

He uploaded the video to the Internet, where it went viral.

The man did not reveal what happened to the four crab.
