Clay Travis, host of Fox Sports radio appeared on CNN with anchor Brooke Baldwin and told her the two things that have never let him down in life is the 1st Amendment and boobs. Baldwin abruptly ended the segment of her show at that point. It was during a discussion on Jemele Hill, so it’s not clear if he was talking about a woman’s anatomy or just commenting on all the boobs CNN hires to broadcast their shows. It’s a coin toss.
In a discussion about the network’s decision to keep SC6 anchor Jemele Hill after she called President Donald Trump a ‘white supremacist, the conservative critic of ESPN said he believed ‘in only two things completely: the First Amendment and boobs.’
Both Baldwin and ESPN’s Keith Reed were stunned with the former cutting Travis off and asking him to repeat himself.
‘I just want to make sure I heard you correctly as a woman anchoring this show,’ she said.
‘What did you just say? You believe in the First Amendment and B-double-O-B-S?’
Travis responded and said: ‘Boobs. Two things that have only never let me down in this entire country’s history: the First Amendment and boobs.’
As Reed then called Travis out for his comments, baffled Baldwin still needed clarification as to what exactly was being said, still in disbelief by what she heard
‘I said boobs,’ he said.
‘I believe completely in the First Amendment and in boobs. Those are the only two things I believe 100% in this country.’
Baldwin then added: ‘Why would you even say that live on national television and with a female host? Why would you even go there?’
She would go on to cut both mics and ended the segment early, adding that with it being live she had to gather herself before she was able to act quickly.
