Father Commits Suicide After Discovering His Daughter’s Unsavory Profession

“He stopped speaking to me, he was pretty upset,” Chivu explained. “When he found out what I had done he cut himself off from the world and tried to isolate me as well from the rest of the family.”

A Playboy model reportedly says she’s still devastated six years after her father’s alleged suicide over her decision to pose nude for the magazine.

At 18 years old, Loredana Chivu took the opportunity to pose nude for the Romanian edition of Playboy, and when her father found out, he immediately cut off communication with her.

“He stopped speaking to me, he was pretty upset,” Chivu explained. “When he found out what I had done he cut himself off from the world and tried to isolate me as well from the rest of the family.”

Reports claim that Chivu says she thought that her father would eventually move past her career decision, but to her horror, he allegedly took his own life as a result.

“I thought he would get over it and I never expected he would do something like kill himself,” Chivu said.
The model reportedly says a few months after her father found out, she attempted to visit him and reconcile their relationship, but when she entered the home, she found that he had taken his own life.

“I found him hanging from a beam in the attic. I never recovered from the shock of finding him,” she said. “He had not left a suicide note and everybody said that up to the end he seemed cheerful, and it was a complete mystery as to why he would do something like this.”

Now, six years later, Chivu apparently says she is still grappling with the idea that her dad could have taken his own life because of her decision to pose nude.

“We had always been close and talked every day, and suddenly that stopped after the photographs,” Chivu revealed. “Even after all this time I find it hard to come up with words to talk about it, it is still too painful.

I would not wish this on anyone. One of the worst things is not knowing, he didn’t seem to have any pressing problems at the time apart from our argument and I never would have thought he was a weak man who would take his own life. On the contrary, he was full of life, he enjoyed having fun.”
