Father of a rape victim was arrested on a charge of attempted murder after allegedly chopping off the hands of a boy who raped his daughter, police in India said.
Bathinda police have arrested the father, who was not identified, after being accused of chopping off both hands of 17-year-old Parminder Singh, who was accused of raping the suspect’s 7-month-old daughter.
Singh has been charged with rape while the 25-year-old father, who was not identified, was charged with attempted murder.
According to the police investigation, Singh was caught raping the seven-month-old girl.
Singh was brought before the girl’s father in order to reach an out of court settlement. Singh was then lured to the woods, where the father chained the boy to a tree.
He then attacked him with a knife. Besides causing injury to the boy’s head, the father cut off both his hands as an act of revenge.
People at the scene took Singh to the Bathinda civil hospital, where he is in critical condition. A doctor who treated Singh, said that the boy was brought in without his hands.
Police later brought the boy’s hands and they were reattached.
Should have just chopped his head off and fed the body to the lions and cougars round there. Child predators deserve no mercy and the father shouldn’t be charged at all, He did what any good father would do.
Prayers to him and hope he gets acquitted, Prayers hoping Singh dies soon.
