Mexican musician Jonathan Meléndez, his pregnant wife, their 3-year-old daughter and a nanny were found shot to death Tuesday inside a home in Mexico City, according to CNN.
Meléndez, 35, was a keyboardist for the indie rock band Camilo Séptimo. CNN reported that his wife, Ana Paula, also 35, was four months pregnant.
A child was found alive
Authorities said a 6-year-old boy was found unharmed at the scene, according to the report.
CNN, citing the Mexico Attorney General’s Office, reported that the couple’s 3-year-old daughter and a 21-year-old nanny were also killed.
What investigators reported
The Attorney General’s Office said three of the victims, including the young daughter, were shot in the backs of their heads, while a fourth victim was shot in the back, according to CNN.
Authorities also said two victims had their hands tied. The family dog was reportedly found dead with its legs bound.
Two suspects arrested
Police arrested two men in connection with the killings, according to the report.
