How They Lost $27,000 On Their Wedding Will Make You See Red….

Gray Narvaez-Dragion was thrilled for their wedding day. They had invited everyone they could to celebrate the joining of their families and their love for their special day. Over the moon, Gray revealed their excitement to get married, “I have never felt so happy, so loved, so genuinely over the moon,” they said.

Despite receiving dozens of RSVPs from friends and family who assured the couple that they would show up, Gray and their partner were shocked and heartbroken when more than half of their guests did not show up on the day of the celebration, they felt ghosted, and devastated by their absence.

To share their unsuccessful wedding story, Gray Narvaez-Dragion turned to TikTok, where they showed all the empty seats at their wedding. Their video has since gone viral, with more than five million views and counting. In the clip, they captioned: 88 people said yes… not even 40 showed up.”

Gray and their partner had invested more than $27,000 in their wedding with the expectation that they would be hosting eighty-eight guests on their special day. Unfortunately, they were surrounded by fewer than half of the people who had promised to come after RSVPing to their invitation. And as a result, the newlyweds ended up losing out on more than half of the expenses they had spent on the wedding celebration, including the cost of food, decor, and music.

The TikTok video was flooded with comments and reactions, with most people agreeing that the guests who did not show up were incredibly rude. Gray’s situation wasn’t unique as one person shared how their sister had experienced a similar fate, and they would never do that to someone.

Gray was heartbroken when they realized that they had to cancel some of the events due to poor attendance. They had to skip the “sparkler send off, private dance, [the] dinner [and] cut the entire reception short.” Gray and their new husband, Nyx, hugged each other in the empty ceremony room and cried.

The wedding was cut short, and Gray and Nyx were left with the financial burden of paying for food they couldn’t eat. Gray revealed that they could not afford their food after losing their job and half of their guests not showing up. They were devastated by the situation.

In the end, Gray’s wedding day was a bittersweet experience, filled with both joy and heartbreak. But despite the unfortunate turn of events, Gray and Nyx were grateful to have each other and the memories of their wedding day.
