A Nashville Crowd Went Crazy When A Country Star Ripped Bud Light A New… [VIDEO]

The popular beer brand is facing a surge of backlash following its recent controversial transgender activist promotion, causing a prominent country music artist to change his song’s lyrics in protest.

Bud Light has recently faced backlash over its controversial partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney. In response, popular country music singer Riley Green changed the lyrics of his hit song “I Wish Grandpas Never Died” during a performance in Nashville. Instead of mentioning Bud Light, Green sang, “and coolers never ran out of cold Coors Light,” receiving enthusiastic approval from the audience.

Although Coors Light has also participated in Gay Pride events, it is crucial to differentiate between acknowledging consensual homosexual relationships and advocating for more contentious issues, such as gender reassignment surgery for children, perpetuating lazy stereotypes, or allowing biological males to compete in female sports.

Budweiser CEO Brendan Whitworth issued a statement aiming to address the public’s dissatisfaction with the company. He emphasized the company’s long history of supporting communities, the military, first responders, and sports fans.

“As the CEO of a company founded in America’s heartland more than 165 years ago, I am responsible for ensuring every consumer feels proud of the beer we brew,” Whitworth began. “We have thousands of partners, millions of fans and a proud history supporting our communities, military, first responders, sports fans and hard-working Americans everywhere.”

He also acknowledged that Budweiser should not be involved in divisive discussions and should focus on bringing people together. However, critics argue that Whitworth’s statement fell short and failed to resonate with its core audience.

“We never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people. We are in the business of bringing people together over a beer,” he continued. “My time serving this country taught me the importance of accountability and the values upon which America was founded: freedom, hard work and respect for one another. As CEO of Anheuser-Busch, I am focused on building and protecting our remarkable history and heritage.”

“Moving forward, I will continue to work tirelessly to bring great beers to consumers across our nation,” he later added.

Donald Trump Jr. voiced his support for Budweiser, stating that the company should not be defined by a single misguided marketing campaign. He urged people to recognize that Budweiser does not engage in the same “leftist nonsense” as other big conglomerates and should be given a chance to learn from its mistakes. He added that if the company repeated such actions, then the public should reconsider their support.

On the other hand, conservative writer and commentator Matt Walsh encouraged people to maintain pressure on Bud Light, arguing that the current boycott is the most effective conservative response to a “woke” corporation. Justin Kendall, the editor of the beer industry trade publication Brewbound, also observed that this boycott could have a lasting impact, with Bud Light’s sales reportedly experiencing a 70% slump due to the boycott from drinkers and distributors.
