It looks like more and more evidence is emerging to support the theory that Covid-19 leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China.
As more and more evidence comes out to support this theory, we must confront the possibility that China attempted to conceal evidence of the lab leak. Republican Senator Tom Cotton has been one of the strongest voices calling out China for its role in this debacle.
The Chinese Communist Party destroyed evidence so there may never be a “smoking gun.”
But all the available evidence points to a lab leak.

The New York Times recently published an article claiming that Republicans are “pushing” the lab leak theory but lack a “smoking gun”. But Cotton rightly pointed out that there may never be a smoking gun because China destroyed evidence that would prove it’s true. The Chinese government has repeatedly obstructed investigations into the origins of the virus, and the World Health Organization has even had to admit this fact.
Meanwhile, China has been pushing an unfounded conspiracy theory that the virus originated in a U.S. Army lab in Maryland. It’s a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black. China claims to have been “open and transparent” about the virus, but the truth is that they have been anything but.
The Department of Energy and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, both top Biden administration agencies, have admitted that the lab leak theory is highly probable. So why is the mainstream media still pushing the narrative that Republicans are just engaging in a political theater? It’s time to take this theory seriously and hold China accountable for its actions.
The New York Times article claims that the recent hearing of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic produced no new evidence, but that’s just not true. We have plenty of evidence pointing to a lab leak, and it’s time to start taking this theory seriously. We need to be willing to confront uncomfortable truths, even if it means admitting that China was responsible for the virus.
Cotton has been a fierce critic of China and has been vocal in his belief that the lab leak theory is correct. He recently said, “There’s a reason why the CCP covered this up”. And he’s right. The Chinese Communist Party has a long history of covering up its mistakes and obfuscating the truth. It’s time to hold them accountable for their actions and demand answers.
We need to be willing to look at all the evidence and confront the uncomfortable truth about the origins of the Covid-19 virus. We can’t let China off the hook just because it’s politically expedient to do so. We owe it to the millions of people who have been affected by this virus to find out the truth and hold those responsible accountable.
