Former failed 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Marianne Williamson is reportedly “on the verge of announcing she’s running” for president as a Democrat in the 2024 election this weekend.
This would make Williamson the first Dem to announce a bid given Biden’s refusal to announce a decision thus far.
We all know many of the Dems don’t want Biden to take another battle to win re-election in 2024 as he failed to solve the country’s economic woes, skyrocketing violent crime, and an unprecedented crisis at the southern border.
PLUS his age and his worsening dementia it would be impossible for him to carry out the best interests of the American people.
In fact, only 37% of Democrats want Biden to seek a second term in 2024 – that’s according to an Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs poll.
According to 100PercentFedup, “the announcement would mark one of few times in the last 100 years when a sitting President has faced a primary challenge from within his own party. Only one sitting President has not received the nomination from his own party to run for re-election.”

Marianne Williamson, a former 2020 Democrat presidential candidate, is set to travel to New Hampshire this weekend, where she is expected to launch a primary challenge against President Joe Biden’s anticipated 2024 reelection campaign, according to Politico.
In a Friday interview with Politico, Williamson spoke vaguely about her plans to launch her presidential campaign this weekend.
“I’ll be making a statement this weekend,” Williamson said when asked whether she has decided to run for president in 2024.
Then, she told Politico, “I will be in New Hampshire,” when pressed for more details about her weekend plans.
Williamson also told the outlet that if she does run for president, she would “absolutely” run as a Democrat rather than an Independent.
Williamson’s interview seems to be the most concrete piece of evidence that points to her presidential ambitions after it was reported in December that she was trying to build campaign operations in early Democrat primary states and “put out feelers to donors.”
Well, if Joe Biden isn’t going to announce that he’s running, at least Williamson looks like she is. This weekend, the apparent candidate-in-waiting will be in New Hampshire to make an announcement that’s expected to kick off her second presidential campaign.
Maybe we’ll get really lucky and there will be a Biden-Williamson debate? That would be some must-watch TV. lol
