People truly get crazy about their loose teeth, whether it is by tying a string to a doorknob or doing something even more bizarre. Meanwhile, kids can also get super excited if their families have a Tooth Fairy.
However, you don’t want to remove any perfectly functional, healthy teeth from a child’s mouth. Who would commit such a terrible act? When a lady was detained in a nearby Walmart after others heard her son screaming, police in Utah found out recently this information.
As minutes later, Walmart employees were shocked to see what a mom was doing at her own son, when the mother picked up a few items at Walmart before taking her son into the bathroom and closed the doors.
Cashiers at a Walmart in Cedar Hills, Utah, didn’t think twice when the mom, Jeannine Cherilynn Isom of Salt Lake City walked into the store with her sons and bought two simple items. A hand sanitizer and a pair of needle-nose pliers. After paying for her purchase and leaving the store with her bag in hand, she attached the bottle of hand sanitizer and the set of needle nose pliers to the belt.
She brought her purchases and her seven-year-old son into the store’s public restroom, instead of exiting the store. And in an unbelievably traumatic way, she then proceeded to torture her son. And as the mother committed her horrible kind of abuse right there, her older son was forced to listen to the screams of his younger sibling while he waited outside the bathroom.
Isom was caught after a worker heard the screaming, like it belongs in a horror movie after hearing cries coming from the public restroom. In a horrifying incident, the mother was using the pliers she had just bought to pull out two of the smaller boy’s teeth when the Walmart employee entered the bathroom.
The 47-year-old woman was then arrested and charged with child abuse and a second-degree felony for “intentionally or knowingly inflicting serious physical injury upon a child.” Police added that the incident was “child abuse in its purest for.” After removing the boy from the bathroom and getting him away from his abusive mother, the cops were called.
American Fork Police Sgt. Cameron Paul explained the horrific ordeal the innocent child was put through. He said, “She proceeded to use the needle nose pliers to extract both teeth, both of his upper front teeth in his mouth.”
Authorities say she didn’t use any anesthetic and one tooth was loose while another “was only a little loose.”
“When she proceeded to extract them, they didn’t come out in one whole piece,” said Sergeant Cameron Paul.“There were multiple pieces. So that illustrates that they were still very attached to this child’s mouth.”
Isom claims the teeth were infected, but a dentist who examined the child said that isn’t true.
Unfortunately, child abuse is one of the most abhorrent realities in our society, but the most repulsive perpetrators have to be abusive parents. Since his mother was the one person a child should be able to trust not to hurt them, one can only imagine the immense suffering this caused the seven-year-old boy.
