He Found Over $25,000 On The Ground, His First Move Will Make Your Heart Soar….

An honest man shocked most internet users after his story went viral.

George Condash was outside the ATM of his credit union when he noticed a black metal box blocking the road. It was sitting right in the middle of the street near the drive-through window.

But what would you have done if you have found that much money sitting outside of the bank? Would you have returned it to the teller or would you have kept some of it for yourself? Many people would have not thought twice about keeping the cash as that much money could really turn someone’s life around in short order.

But not George…

George stopped to get a closer look at the box and see if he could figure out what was inside. At first, he thought it was trash, but he wanted to pick it up so no one else would have to swerve around it.

The video shows George going out of his way to remove the bundle of cash and immediately take it inside to the tellers. It turns out, an armed security guard had left the money in the roadway by accident.

“I drove right around here and it was sitting about right here,” Condash told WDIV. “Well, first, I just thought it was trash. For some reason it hit me that, ‘Why don’t I just pick this up so no one else has to swerve around it?'”

The box said $40,000 but inside was actually $27,000.

“It’s not mine and any honest person, I would hope, would take it back in,” George said.

“That was a lot of money that could have resulted in a significant loss, and we just wanted to give him a token of our appreciation,” the bank’s cash manager Alicia Stewart told CNN.

“Is there a reward for $40,000?” George asked. The employees “just looked dumbfounded,” he told WDIV.

The credit union in Westland did give George an undisclosed reward, the report said.
