These Babies Took The Stage, Once The Music Started Nobody Could Stop Laughing…

Ah, the annual talent show, that staple of elementary-school life when kids get a chance to impress everyone with their skills and hopefully become the talk of the school for days and weeks to come.

Mission accomplished for these four Texas boys, whose hilarious performance caused quite a stir. The fifth graders performed their skit in the New Braunfels Christian Academy gymnasium, leaving both their live and online audiences in stitches.

Is it any surprise that this video has received over 4.3 million views and counting? During the talent show that year, the young children who study at the New Braunfels Christian Academy always know to look forward to the yearly Elementary Talent Show.

However, a man named Randy Benson managed to record a unique video of four boys performing their talent for the entire fifth-grade audience. Randy Benson posted the video to YouTube on May 12, 2017. He is the father of Mason, one of the boys featured in the performance. The four-and-a-half-minute clip shows the MCs of the talent show introducing the boys: Rider, Hunter, Mason, and Graham.

With that, a black sheet is pulled from a large box-like object, exposing four heads and pairs of arms attached to what appear to be baby-sized bodies. Within a few seconds, the opening notes of Taylor Swift’s “Shake it off” begin playing as the first boy in the lineup lip-synch along:

They obviously put a lot of time and practice into their goofy, choreographed routine, moving through half a dozen songs including Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.”

Making it an even better performance, the legs move along with the dance as well as their arms are attached to their puppet baby legs as the boys all make fists and then move them to the music, showing the crowd that they can perform some synchronized dance moves, too.

Moving their arms and the legs of their puppets to the tune and eliciting laughter from the attentive audience. The boys simply “shake it off” during the song’s chorus.

The song by Taylor Swift abruptly ends at 1:25 in the video, and a new one replaces it. The boys are dancing to John Fogerty’s “Centerfield” this time. After donning caps, the boys begin batting baseballs around the gym. They put on a hilarious performance that the audience can’t get enough of. They adore what these four lads came up with for the 2017 NBCA Talent Showcase.

After a few seconds, the music switches again, and the iconic beginning notes of “Kung Fu Fighting” being to play by Carl Douglas. As the boys continue their routine, the audience is in stitches. The boys put their hands together in a meditative pose and draw many laughs from the crowd.

Half the fun of watching the movie was observing the lads’ emotions. During the amusing baby dancing performance, they can’t stop laughing.

The boys’ show continues in this manner till the conclusion, alternating songs and dances and amusing the entire audience.
