After many days of online debate, which was mostly driven by unhinged Lib Jon Stewart, the fight over the PACT Act resumed in Washington on Monday.
Prior to Democrats breaking their commitment to enable an amendment to remedy a problem with discretionary expenditure turning into mandatory, the PACT Act, which funds veteran care related to fire pits, enjoyed strong bipartisan support.
Due to this, the left, including Stewart, has claimed that Republicans simply despise veterans, which is one of the worst claims possible. However, the fact that these games are being played in Washington is a testament to how much of a swamp the city actually is.
Conservative analyst Jack Posobiec arrived when Stewart was in Washington, D.C., at the Capitol Building to continue his protest against Republicans.
Stewart is fired up and this time, his anger was much more focused and raw than last week.
In a now-viral video posted to Twitter by Benny Johnson of Newsmax, Stewart shouts at Posobiec and calls him an “f—ing troll.”
At least we can say we tried. @JackPosobiec consistently asked if he could use his platform in any way to bring opposing sides together. Jon just screamed at him. At one point grabbed him. CNN cameras will show only part of this, but I got lots too.

So uh, @JackPosobiec and I went to speak with Jon Stewart outside the Capitol. Jack asked some pretty ordinary questions, and Jon began screaming in our faces for about 10 minutes. At one point he was nose to nose with me. I kept trying to calm him down. pic.twitter.com/5C9bxEXTAr

There is no proof that changes to discretionary spending would cause underfunding. That’s not the case, according to Sen. Pat Toomey, who is the one proposing the amendment.
Stewart is either ignorant of the situation or is just attempting to find an excuse for why Republicans are blocking the bill rather than Sen. Chuck Schumer for breaking his commitment.
As the exchange between the two got tense, eventually the two settle their differences enough to come together to endorse the bill.
Later, Posobiec shared another video of the two conversing in a much more subdued tone. That’s how it ought to have been from the start, but it’s simpler to characterize your opponents as wicked as to truly listen to what they have to say.
“Yes, sir,” said Stewart, “I lost my temper a little bit. I felt like I was being trolled and I realized that the important thing is we just gotta get this done for these guys and get them over the finish line to get the healthcare they need.”
“We’re at 98 percent,” says Posobiec. “Let’s get it over the last two percent.”
Stewart agrees and the video, which you can watch below, ends with Posobiec and Stewart shaking hands.
