Wait, What? They Just Replaced Queen Elizabeth With A Hologram?

The celebration of the Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II of England promises to be full of surprises. To celebrate the 70th birthday of the 96-year-old sovereign, the Trooping The Color of June 2, 2022, is one of the most anticipated events.

During the celebration, the golden carriage was seen on the streets of London with all fanfare. Now, you would expect the Queen, herself, to be in the chariot. But actually, it was a hologram inside the carriage which was led by white horses on the streets of London.

According to multiple reports, for health reasons, Queen Elizabeth has now missed the second day of events. The Queen was supposed to be featured in a parade, and while she didn’t appear in person she DID appear as a hologram.

While the hologram of the Queen waved at the public, the people waved back. Get this: They Waved At A Hologram. Oh my…

The startling digitized younger version of the 96-year-old monarch surfaced ahead of her in-person appearance.

I think it’s silly enough that people revere these “royals” like they are some sort of “gods” but this is really weird!

Waving to a hologram as if it cares!

Twitteratis were quick to spot this and some even suggesting the Queen may already be dead:

More details of this report from Fox News:

A hologram of Queen Elizabeth II made an appearance at the Platinum Jubilee Pageant on Sunday.

The hologram appeared on the windows of the 18th century Gold State Coach, which hit the streets of London for the first time in 20 years as the 260-year-old carriage was removed from its display in the Royal Mews.

A young Elizabeth waved to the crowds in the digital imagery projected onto the coach as a military procession followed the two-mile parade through central London.

The Palace had previously teased that while the queen wasn’t planning to ride in the carriage, a “fabulous surprise” was in store.

Elizabeth was also not expected to be seen on the final day of Jubilee events after missing most of the celebrations due to “mobility issues,” but made an appearance on the balcony.

She waved to adoring crowds with Prince Charles and Camilla Parker, the Duchess of Cornwall, by her side. Grandson Prince William and wife Kate Middleton joined her majesty, in addition to their three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

The Telegraph had some scoop of the story:

The Queen has thanked Britain for her spectacular Platinum Jubilee celebrations, hailing the “renewed sense of togetherness” that left her “deeply touched”.

In a 130-word personal message to the nation, Her Majesty said “there is no guidebook to follow”, noting that “it really is a first”.

The letter followed a poignant surprise Buckingham Palace balcony appearance, in which she smiled and waved to huge crowds alongside her three heirs, to round off a pageant filled with pomp and splendor.

“While I may not have attended every event in person, my heart has been with you all; and I remain committed to serving you to the best of my ability, supported by my family,” the monarch wrote.

“I have been inspired by the kindness, joy and kinship that has been so evident in recent days, and I hope this renewed sense of togetherness will be felt for many years to come.

“I thank you most sincerely for your good wishes and for the part you have all played in these happy celebrations.”

It’s given that the world is strange. But Britain is way more strange.
