A company spokesman with extensive ties to Democratic politics tried to dissuade media outlets from even covering the news after a senior staff member at Meta, Facebook’s parent company was caught inappropriately contacting underage boys in a pedophile sting operation.
The Indianapolis Predator Catchers are an organization of anti-pedophile campaigners. On February 17, 2022, the group live-streamed a video on its YouTube channel in which Jeren Andrew Miles, Meta’s manager of community development, was questioned about allegedly sending sexually explicit texts to a 13-year-old child.
As per a report by journalist Andy Ngo, Jeren Andrew Miles had communicated sexually explicit texts with a person who is reportedly a 13-year-old boy. Miles had allegedly made plans for the boy to meet him at Le Meridien Columbus hotel. ‘Predator Catchers Indianapolis’ group had caught him at the same spot. They questioned him about the whole incident and live-streamed it on their Youtube channel.

The amateur group posted a two-hour-long video featuring an exchange with the Meta manager, who admits to conversing with minors on Facebook’s platform Messenger, prompting Miles to delete his social profiles on platforms including Facebook and Twitter.
Miles is 35 years old and is on the board of directors of a California-based LGBTQ group called ‘Equality’, after the sting operation, Jeren Andrew Miles has been reportedly fired from Meta.
According to TechCrunc, Miles has lost his role within the company, though it is unclear whether he resigned or was fired.
While TechCrunch confirmed Miles’s departure from Meta with company spokesperson Andrew “Drew” Pusateri, the public relations hack appeared to attempt to cover up the story altogether.
“The seriousness of these allegations cannot be overstated. The individual is no longer employed with the company. We are actively investigating this situation and cannot provide further comment at this time,” Pusateri said in a statement.
However, he went on to inform reporter Ingrid Lunden that the story was not “newsworthy,” which she reported in her Friday copy, “I’ll point out that Pusateri also tried to talk me out of the newsworthiness of this story over the phone before sending over the statement, noting that other outlets were not covering it (thanks for the advice)…”
Pusateri worked in Democratic politics for almost a decade before joining Meta as its Policy Communications Manager, including as Hillary Clinton’s Missouri Communications Director during the 2016 election.
Senator Claire McCaskill, Senator Gary Peters, and Representative Bruce Braley are among the Democratic members of Congress for whom Pusateri has previously served in key communications jobs.
The news comes after Facebook was accused of assisting and abetting human traffickers, particularly among illegal immigrants attempting to cross the US-Mexico border. Facebook has also influenced election outcomes and practices through its charity foundation, which was founded by business founder Mark Zuckerberg. Grants were deliberately distributed to turn out the vote in Democratic strongholds.
