What Chicago’s Mayor Blamed All The Looting On Is Beyond Insanity!

Chicago’s mayor Lori Lightfoot continues to outdo herself, and not in a good way, either. Just get a load of what she blamed the looting on!

Yep, there is no question that Chicago’s Mayor is showing the whole world that she is truly a liberal nutjob, because she actually blamed retailers for not protecting themselves enough from those that were looting or being criminals in the Windy City.

Yes, you read that right. Lightfoot believes that it is their fault that the Windy City is becoming unbearable to do business in.

Of course, this shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone, because Lightfoot has always been a committed leftist, and she can’t understand why they don’t just hire more security. Well Lori, it’s a little thing called finances, and the problem with 21st-Century liberalism is that you always run out of other people’s money.

WOW! And this comes at a time when the 2021 violence stats are sitting at the worst in almost 30 years.

One example of this would have to be the 1,000 homicides that have occurred within the Windy City so far.

FOX business issued the following report:

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot blamed retailers for not making safety a priority amid a string of smash-and-grab thefts at retail stores in recent months.

“We still have retailers that won’t institute plans like having security officers in their stores, making sure that they’ve got cameras that are actually operational, locking up their merchandise at night, chaining high-end bags. These purses can be something that is attracting a lot of organized retail theft units,” Lightfoot said Monday.

Rob Karr, the president and CEO of the Illinois Retail Merchants Association, said Chicago businesses need the “fingerprinting among leadership to stop.”

Groups of looters in masks have stormed stores in orchestrated plots to steal thousands of dollars worth of merchandise in downtown Chicago and the city’s suburbs.
