Alec Baldwin has deleted his Twitter account, just a few days after he conducted his first in-studio interview about the fatal shooting on the set of his movie “Rust.” His wife Hilaria Baldwin followed suit and deleted hers as well.
The @alecbaldwin Twitter account was first noticed missing late Sunday night. That was the same account Baldwin used to release his first official statement regarding the accidental “Rust” shooting that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza.
And as of Monday morning, Alec Baldwin Foundation @ABFalecbaldwin was also gone. However, The Instagram accounts for the two stars remain active.
Alec, 63, was holding the gun that discharged and killed Hutchins, 42, and injured director Joel Souza on the set of the Western movie.
About a month later, on Nov. 17, he and other Rust producers were named in a lawsuit filed by script supervisor Mamie Mitchell, who was allegedly standing in the line of fire when the gun went off. An investigation is ongoing.
In his ABC News interview with George Stephanopoulos, which aired on Thursday, The actor broke down in tears multiple times as he answered questions about why he pointed a gun at Hutchins, though he denied pulling the trigger.
Alec claimed that he never pulled the trigger — he just cocked it and “let go of the hammer” when it fired.
“I let go of the hammer of the gun, and the gun goes off,” he said.
However, on Friday a piece of evidence appeared where Baldwin’s name emerged in Jeffrey Epstein’s “little black book” of VIP pedophiles during the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell – Epstein’s child trafficking pimp to the elite.
Many have sensed that it was connected to the action of Baldwin’s killing of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of his new movie “Rust”.
Jeffery Epstein maintained a “little black book” with the names and contact information of prominent people, including President Donald Trump, Elizabeth Hurley, and Michael Bloomberg.
The individuals listed in Epstein’s book have not been accused of or associated with any of Epstein’s crimes.
However, a piece of evidence submitted in United States v. Ghislaine Maxwell directly connects Baldwin with Jeffrey Epstein, the late financier accused of various sex crimes, including many involving minor girls.
Maxwell will face charges related to her alleged involvement in financier Jeffrey Epstein’s sex crimes. The trial is being held at the Manhattan federal court.
