One Vermont city is about to do something very nasty to Joe Biden, and it might just totally cripple him! It’s pretty bad when even Vermont is starting to turn against you!
Over the weekend, there was a new chairman of the Vermont Republican Party who recently took office. Needless to say, he is starting his new duties with a bang, announcing that the Vermont GOP was going to hold a “Let’s Go Brandon” rally for the Vermont GOP voters this past Saturday, November 13. He decided to hold this rally in the aptly-named city of Brandon, Vermont!
Moreover, this isn’t a coincidence either, but Brandon, Vermont just happens to be the hometown of this new party chairman, a man named Paul Dame. By all accounts, his rally was a smashing success, with 150 people showing up in this town of just over 4,000 people.
Dame issued a statement that read in part:
We have a lot of work to do over before the session starts in VT, but as I announced at Saturday’s meeting we are going to start with a little fun.
Joe Biden’s first year in office has proved to be the worst of any president in my lifetime. Gas prices are nearly double what they were a year ago. The reports on the costs of an average Thanksgiving meal is nearly double what it was a year ago. And in many cases, people are waiting weeks or even months to get certain supplies due to a terrible s(h)ipping container crisis. Most presidents try to act swiftly in the first 100 days, and President Biden has next to zero accomplishments as we approach the last 60 days of his first year.
President Biden has done nothing to help the people of Vermont, so VT Republicans are going to do something to support the people of Vermont. And we’re going to start in my own hometown — Brandon, VT!
This Saturday we are hosting a “Let’s Go Brandon” Rally in Central Park in Brandon. We are having hats, T-shirts and bumper stickers designed and printed as locally as possible as our first step to make a small contribution to the local economy. Due to supply chain issues, there are limited quantities and sizes available, but you can go online starting today to purchase your merchandise and support Brandon, VT. A portion of all the proceeds of sales made for this rally will be going to a designated charity in Brandon, and we have chosen the Brandon Area Emergency Food Shelf.
The rally will be from 3:30-5 pm, and after the rally, we are encouraging people folks to stick around and choose one of the great dining options in Brandon. They’ve got everything from award-winning fine dining at Cafe Provence to simple and reliable Brandon House of Pizza. All within walking distance of the green.
We are encouraging anyone interested in attending to go to www.vtgop.org to register, and while supplies last they can order merchandise for pick up on Saturday at the Rally, or there will also be other options to order merchandise for delivery at a later date.
Is it possible that this will inspire other people to hold rallies in their towns as well? One can only hope so, whether the town is named Brandon or not!
