SICK! A Girl Just Reported Being Sexually Assaulted At School, And The School Suspended HER!
A girl reported being sexually assaulted at school, so you would think that she would be treated with dignity and respect. Not so fast…
Last month, there was a 15-year-old student in Charlotte, North Carolina who confided in her school administrators that one classmate had been sexually assaulting her in the girl’s restroom. She was claiming that the unnamed male student kept following her into the bathroom where he would grope her without her consent. According to the student, he had been doing this “for weeks” before she had been able to work up the nerve to come forward.
However, instead of intervening or protecting her, these “woke” administrators at the Hawthorne Academy of Health Sciences called her a liar totally out of the blue, suspending her for “filing a false report.” Here’s the twist to the story: the police have actually already charged this male student with two counts of sexual battery and even got a confession out of him.
Fox News 46 interviewed the teen victim about this incident.
The school is reportedly not punishing the attacker in any way at all. “They are making her feel like she is being punished for coming forward,” the victim’s mother said to WBTV.
To make matters worse, these assaults went unreported for a considerable amount of time simply because the victim was “afraid that no one would believe her.” This definitely makes one question the school’s punishment of her for coming forward that much more unsettling. Apparently, this “me too” culture only applies when one is a liberal, eh?
“Around the time of the assembly, the girl spoke with another student who told her she had had a similar experience with the same assailant. The two of them brought their allegations to the assistant principal, who notified the police, triggering an investigation. (A copy of the police report reviewed by The Daily Beast states that two minors reported that the suspect “attempted to engage in sexual contact against the victims will.”) A few weeks later, her mother said, the police called to say the alleged assailant had confessed. He was later charged with two counts of sexual battery.”
Needless to say, the victim’s mother is “completely shocked” at the behavior of the school. She has remained anonymous for her daughter’s protection, but she said that the school has “completely failed” her daughter.
“Schools teach your kids – ‘you see something, you say something – and in this case my daughter did, and it seems that the school system has failed her.”
Shortly after they notified the school of the incident, the administration informed the victim’s mother that they had found no evidence of sexual assault and then proceeded to accuse the daughter of filing a false report based on lies. However, when the mother confronted Adams with the fact that the police had gotten a confession to the assaults from this student, the administration brazenly fired back with “unfortunately, the police department has nothing to do with the school system.”
“I said to her, ‘I’m a little confused because this student admitted to the detectives that interviewed him at the police station that he did in fact do this,’’’ the mother recalled. “And she said, ‘Unfortunately, what the police department does has nothing to do with the school system.’”
Of course, keep in mind that this is a PUBLIC school official.
Sadly, neither anyone from the school board, the administration, nor anyone else on the staff has reached out to the victim’s family.
