We continue to lose our rights with this “pandemic” and no one seems to be doing anything about it. Just wait until you hear about the CDC and what they are doing now! Either way, the CDC is a monolithic organization, and they have plenty of employees.
As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, there is no doubt that many of these employees will be traveling for the holiday just like many of their fellow Americans will be doing as well. However, the CDC will not have any sympathy for those that do not work for them…
The CDC recently made an announcement that they are going to send their quarantine officers to spot-check passengers for compliance of the COVID-19 rules.
HotAir issued the following report:
There are some exceptions to the new requirements. Children under the age of 18 and people from countries experiencing a shortage of COVID-19 vaccines will be exempt from providing proof of vaccination. Beginning November 8, foreign travelers described as non-immigrant adults traveling to the U.S. will have to be fully vaccinated. All travelers will have to be tested before boarding a plane to the U.S. Tightened restrictions for American and foreign citizens not fully vaccinated will be in place…
…The U.S. will accept any FDA-approved vaccine for regular or emergency use or approved by the World Health Organization. These include Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca and China’s Sinopharm and Sinovac vaccines. Mixing and matching of approved shots will be permitted.
This leaves the airlines in an unenviable position: they are stuck with enforcing these new guidelines whether they like it or not. They are going to be required to verify whether a person has vaccine records and then be able to match them against their identity. This is definitely a twist, and not to get morbid with you all, but it might definitely lead to a new position: quarantine officer.
These “quarantine officers” are going to be from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and they are going to be responsible for spot-checking passengers who have arrived in the U.S. for compliance. Moreover, airlines that refuse to enforce these requirements are going to be subject to penalties of almost $35,000 per violation. The CDC….taking away your rights one little bit at a time.
