The New Biden Investigations May Be The Thing That Breaks Him!

The State Department’s inspector general has reportedly launched “a series of investigations” into the Biden administration’s pullout from Afghanistan.

The inspector general affiliated with the State Department is now reportedly launching “a series of investigations” into President Biden’s pullout from Afghanistan.

There was a memo dated last week from Secretary of State Antony Blinken that had been obtained by Politico that said that these investigations are going to focus on “the State Department’s Special Immigrant Visa program. Afghans processed for refugee admission into the U.S.; resettlement of those refugees and visa recipients; and the emergency evacuation of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul ‘to include evacuation of U.S. citizens and Afghan nationals.’”

Diana Shaw is the State Department’s acting inspector general, and she informed several committees in the U.S. House of Representatives last Monday in regards to the work that her office is doing.

State OIG spokesperson Ryan Holden did his best to downplay the news, insisting that it was only “reviews” and not “investigations” that were taking place. To wit, Politico specifically referred to these actions as “investigations.”

“State OIG notified its committees of jurisdiction today of planned projects in the areas you mention,” Holden said. “This work will be conducted in coordination with other members of the IG community. However, it is inaccurate to say that these projects are investigations. We indicated to Congress that these projects will be reviewed.”

The report noted that the inspector generals from other departments are likely to launch investigations into the chaotic events that have already unfolded under the ultra-liberal President Joe Biden’s leadership.

The report added the following:

The Pentagon’s IG recently announced three reviews related to the evacuation: an evaluation of the botched drone strike in Kabul that killed 10 civilians instead of the Islamic State target; a review of DoD’s screening process for displaced Afghans; and an audit of DoD support for the relocation of Afghan nationals.

Biden continues to face intense backlash over his disastrous pullout from Afghanistan, including several accusations that he has deliberately lied to the American people. Biden continues to see his poll numbers crater, with most entities showing him in the mid-30s after this Afghanistan debacle.
